On March 3rd, 2020 Ruby Ranch launched a nonprofit called Little Rubies. Your donation will help enrich our Summer Youth Camps, Field Trips, Farm Tours, Open Hours and our Farm and Nature Preschool. In 2023 we served over 3,000 students. We loved love to continue growing our programming. Please consider donating to our programs today! Learn more below:
Your donations will go to one of four categories.
1. Educational Expansion: We want to become a Farm and Nature School in Minnesota for ages Preschool-through 2nd grade! We are currently serving Preschool and Kindergarten We are writing grants to get funds to expand into a the back of the shed to add another classroom and commercial kitchen. We have plans and contractors already selected to make this a reality!
2. Natural Playland: Since we opened our goal was to create a natural playland. We have a space on our property reserved for this space. We want kids to play on this and find simple pleasures in playing on natural elements, then to go to their backyard and/or community to find elements to play and interact on.
3. Animal Care and Expansion: We want to expand our farm animals to educate our campers and community on how animals can provide therapy, while also teaching us responsibility, care, and hard work. We will also use these funds toward animal feed and vet care.
4. Sponsor a Camper: Each summer we have sponsored kids at camps and it brings us joy knowing that we helped make lasting memories. We would like to grow our sponsored kids each summer. You can donate money to go toward this program. If you choose to donate you can pick one of the 4 categories for your funds to go towards.
Otherwise you can just select Nonprofit Choice and the board will work together to decide where best to put your donation!

2021: $5000 to purchase the Creative Curriculum for Little Rubies - A Farm and Nature Learning Center
2024: The Glen A. Taylor Foundation made a donation to our educational expasnsion
2024: New Hope Board & Lodge donated $1000. This went toward an 8 ft picnic table for preschool/kindergarten, field trips and summer campers to enjoy eating outdoors!
2022, 2023, 2024: $1000 to Sponsor Wild & Free Camp Equipment and they are donating staff time to help train campers out here for BB Guns and Archery!
2024: $500
This went toward the outdoor eating area so kids can enjoy eating and doing table work outside during preschool, kinder, field trips and summer camps!
2023: $1000 to Sponsor Construction Camp Equipment so kids can make their own Tool box or Art Box.
2021: $5000 to our Gardening Center including water tables and mud kitchens to be enjoyed by guests of all ages!
